Back Pain Relief
Fighting back pain relief is difficult and yet back pain is one of the most common and frustrating ailments in society. Statistics show that back pain affects 80% of Americans at some point in their life.
What is back pain? It can range from sciatica to lower back pain, middle back pain, upper back pain to lower back pain. It has numerous causes as well. Back pain can be caused by nerve or muscular problems, arthritis, injury or degenerative disc disease.
Numerous medications are used daily for back pain, sometimes they assist but often they do not. So what can you do to prevent back pain before it becomes a problem for you?
You can start by simply exercising. Strengthening your stomach muscles is surprisingly important in decreasing back problems. Second, simply stretching can alleviate tight back muscles. Enrolling in a yoga program will assist you with learning to stretch properly and keep those back muscles flexible and loose. We of course suggest using the ancient Korean style of yoga integrated into what is called Dahn Yoga.
Other ways to protect yourself from back pain is to have proper posture when standing or sitting, find a mattress that isn’t too soft or hard, and to wear a lumbar support belt if you are required to lift heavy objects.
Back pain doesn’t have to be an every day part of your life with a few preventative measures.
